Instagram quote card maker

Turn your words into an Instagram post or Story with your handle, a story ring around your photo, and type that fills the frame.

How to make a quote card

  1. Pick a template

Choose a tweet, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Signature or photo style.

  2. Add your words and photo

Type your quote, your name and handle, and upload a profile photo. Paste your profile link to fill the handle automatically.

  3. Choose a size and style

Pick feed, Story or cover size, light or dark, black and white, a font, and an optional footer with your website.

  4. Download and post

Click Export PNG, then Download or Copy and paste it straight into your post.

Feed or Story?

For the feed, portrait 1080 by 1350 takes up the most screen space and usually gets the most attention. For Stories and Reels covers, use 9:16 and turn on the safe zone guides so your text stays clear of the profile bar and reply box.

Make your quote readable

Instagram is viewed on phones, so short quotes work best. If your quote is long, switch to Story size or split it across a carousel of two or three cards.

Frequently asked questions

What are the safe zone guides?

In Story size, SaidCard can shade the top and bottom areas where Instagram places your profile name and the reply box, so you can keep your quote out of those spots. The guides never appear in your download.

Is SaidCard free?

Yes. Every template, size and style option on this page is free, and exports are full resolution with no watermark.

Do my photos and quotes get uploaded anywhere?

No. SaidCard runs entirely in your browser. Your photos, quotes and settings stay on your device and are never sent to a server.

Which sizes can I export?

Square 1080 by 1080 and portrait 1080 by 1350 for feeds, 1080 by 1920 for Stories and Reels, 1200 by 675 for landscape posts, plus X, Facebook and LinkedIn cover sizes.
